Peter Snell Death

Peter Snell has died on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the age of 81. His cause of death is not said.

Snell was olympic legend from New Zealand, passed away yesterday. With three Olympic Golds, he is the only man since 1920 to win the 1500 & 800 in the same Olympics.

He was coached by one of the try OG’s of distance running: Arthur Lydiard. Snell held WORLD records in the 800m, 880yd, 1000m, 1500m, Mile, and 4xMile.

He was an inaugural member of the International Association of Athletics Federations Hall of Fame. He contributed so much to the sport through his efforts, and through his life after running.
