Police Identify Victims, Suspect In Vestal Shooting – The 17 and 11-year-old are students in the Vestal School District. They say the 11-year-old is now is the custody of social services.
The Vestal Police Department said they believe 62-year-old Jean Guillaume shot and killed his 17-year-old stepdaughter Lauren Ajax, her mother, and then turned the gun on himself in a “domestic incident.”
According to police, Jean-Jacques works in the Lourdes hospital system. Police noted the weapon used was a .22 caliber handgun.

Police said 52-year-old Dr. Marie Laure Jean-Jacques is in critical condition, but she is expected to survive.
Guillaume is on life support, as of Monday morning.
Police responded to the home after receiving reports of multiple people being shot. Officers said all three people were suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived at the home.
An 11-year old girl discovered her mother and sister suffering from gunshot wounds before she called police from a neighbor’s house.
