Guyana Defence Force Soldier Private Mistnen Thomas Passed Away | Cause Of Death:
Private Mistnen Thomas died January 29, 2020 following ghastly vehicle accident that took place on the Capoey Public Road, Essequibo Coast, said police.
Private Mistnen Thomas passed away Wednesday around 11.20 pm in accident. He passed on at the age of 20, said report.
Thomas was operating a motor cycle CK 1172 at high speed rate, headed south on the road, when for reasons unknown, he lost control of the machine and drove into the westbound lane, where a northbound motorcar HB7499 hit him, the impact of the crash made him to be severely injured and unresponsive at the scene of accident. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said police.
Mistnen was a member of the Guyana Defence Force.
The causes leading to the accident remains under investigation.
