Obnoxious Breaking News! We regret to inform you that Prophet Rogers G. DeCuir has died. Based in Southern California for year he was a known legend in the Pentecostal Movement. Pastor DeCuir has been preaching the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for over 65 years! He started as a small boy in Atlanta, Georgia, preaching to ducks, pigs and chickens! His family later relocated to California where Pastor DeCuir started his first church in Los Angeles, California in a theater building on Jefferson Boulevard.
After about a year, the building was condemned and the church members moved to various congregations. Soon after, Pastor DeCuir was invited to a prayer meeting in Pasadena; out of that prayer meeting the Holy Deliverance Pentecostal Church was born. Church services were held in the homes of various members until its relocation to 220 N. Michigan Ave. The church remained there for 18 years and experienced great growth. The church then moved to 740 E. Washington Boulevard and is now located at 1141 North Lincoln Avenue in Pasadena, CA.
Through a social media announcement, DeadDeath learned on September 30, 2021, about the death of Prophet Rogers G. DeCuir who has died. In the mourning spirit of this death, families, friends, and associates of the deceased share their sad news across social media timelines.
