Rachel Faith McCune Death – The authorities have released the identity of the woman who died on Thursday night, July 30 after being struck to death by a car on Highway 101 as 35-year-old Rachel Faith McCune, of Seaside.
According to the police, a driver identified as 29-year-old Aaron Harris of Cannon Beach was driving north up the highway around 9:30 p.m.

He reportedly saw a pedestrian cross his path — but couldn’t avoid McCune.
McCune suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, says the police.
The Highway 101 was shut down for about three hours as crews investigated and later opened.
