Ralph U. Lang Death – The victim of the Tuesday fatal multi-vehicle crash that occurred on U.S Highway 12, east of the Pomeroy city limits, has been identified as 52-year-old Ralph U. Lang, of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, says the Washington Police Department.

According to Troopers, Lang died in the crash.

At about 3:11pm, a 57-year-old Michael S. Wilson, of Prosse was driving a 1999 Peterbilt tractor and trailer and traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 12 at milepost 405, when he hit the rear of another vehicle, causing a chain reaction accident that involved 4 cars, a semi and 2 motorcycles.

Two other female victims from Clarkson, Washington, 71 and 83 old respectively, were injured and taken to Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston.

Although alcohol and or drugs were not considered factors for the crash, the cause of the accident is still under investigation says the Washington State Patrol.

Charges are still pending.
