Raymond Atkinson Jr. And Natasha Newby Death – The identities of the couple involved in a double homicide on Saturday, August 15 have been released by the authorities on Monday, August 17 as Raymond Atkinson Jr., 34, and Natasha Newby, 29.
According to official report, their bodies were found on Saturday night in their northeast Bend home.

The identification was pronounced by Lt. Juli McConkey after the report of the autopsy performed on Monday at the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office in Clackamas, near Portland.
In the lieutenant’s words during a brief update, she said: “We believe they are both victims of homicidal violence. The investigation continues to be active and ongoing.”
The names of the couple was confirmed by family and friends to NewsChannel 21 on Monday.
The couple were found dead during the police welfare check around 9.40 p.m Saturday at their home in the 900 block of Northwest 12th Street, near Pilot Butte, says McConkey.
The home was taped on Sunday and Monday by the investigators and forensic experts.
The deceased couple were described by their friends as game lovers who loved to hunt and fish.
One of their friend, Tammy McDonald said: “They were funny. I mean, no matter how bad of a day someone was having, they would always be there, to make you laugh, get your mind off that subject.”
“They would have given their shirt off their back to anybody,” she said “I mean, they loved hunting and fishing, and like I said, they were a big part of the gaming community.”
Investigation is still ongoing.
