Reinier Paping Death – Obituary, Cause Of Death – Skating legend Reinier Paping passed away today at the age of 90. On January 18, 1963, at the age of 31, Paping won the toughest edition of the Elfstedentocht ever. At the start of the tour it was no less than 18 degrees below zero, with an ice cold easterly wind.
