Rob Davidson Death | Obituary – Rob Davidson age 69 passed away after a cancer battle, Rob was also the father of city councilor Mike Davidson. He was a mentor and icon he contributed greatly to the bitterness of his community and country.
“Our thoughts are with the Mayor, councillor Davidson and all of Rob’s family at this difficult time,” acting Mayor Andrew Turner said in a statement.
“Many of us knew Rob and admired his determination and tenacity in supporting Christchurch communities, particularly the people of Aranui, and his strong commitment to Lianne in their 25 years together.”
Turner said Davidson’s death was a big loss for many community groups in Christchurch.
“It is a great loss for his family,” Turner said.
