Robert Bowers Dead At Age 28
The man who died after being burnt by fire in West Oahu has been named as Robert Bowers, a 28-year-old man of Waiane.
He was identified as the victim of an auto recycling business fire at the Campbell Industrial Park business by Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office.
About 20 firefighters responded to the blaze that broke out at Green Auto Recycling at 91-080 Hanua St. at about 2:55 p.m. Many vehicles were already on fire by the time they arrived. They were able to bring everything under control in about 55 minutes.
