Rodney M. Coates Passed Away | Cause Of Death
Rodney M. Coates of Banco died January 30, 2020 following ghastly vehicle accident that happened on Route 231 (N. Blue Ridge Turnpike) at Route 651 (Aylor Road) in Madison County, said report.
Rodney M. Coates passed away Thursday at about 2:05 p.m in accident. He passed on 50 from injuries sustained in crash, said police.
Coates was traveling northbound in a 2011 Chevy Malibu, when the driver of a 2002 Dodge Durango lost control, veered passed the double solid yellow centerline and crashed head-on with his vehicle, he was severely injured and unresponsive at the scene of accident. He was pronounced dead at the spot of the crash, report stated.
The accident remains under investigation.
