Roger Pindell was shot to death on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at approximately 2 a.m. He was only 26-year-old at the time of the shooting death.
Roger Pindell was shot and killed in the back seat of his vehicle. By the time officers arrived the crime scene, was was at the back seat of the vehicle suffering from gunshot wound.
The shooting reportedly happened on the 500 block of Seymour Avenue. Pindell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicated that a group of males were inside the vehicle at the time the shooting occurred, and they all fled from the scene.
The person of interest, a 17-year-old has been charged with delinquency murder. Officers responding to a different call about a mile away, located a group of males.
They were suspected of having a thing to do with the shooting, several guns were discovered in their possession and during interrogation, the 17-year-old was identified as the prime-suspect in the shooting.
According to police, Pindell was shot at a close range inside the vehicle.
