Ron Brazier death & obituary : A shooting took place on the 19th of January resulting to the death of Brazier.
Katrice Curd has been charged with the murder of Brazier. This turn of event took place at 16 Mile and Harper after an argument ensued between Curd and the deceased, which led to Brazier’s death.
Katrice said she acted out of self defense as the father of her child, now the victim, was beating her which led to the shooting. However, the evidence says otherwise.
According to Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith, this was a domestic violence situation that took a negative twist. Smith said the argument led to the gun being pulled. Curd fired the weapon, stricking Braizer in the stomach.
She said it was self-defense and she was examined for bruises.
