Ronald Nicholls Jr. Death – The Jefferson Parish coroner’s office has released the identity of the man who was shot and killed in the middle of an Old Jefferson street Monday night, August 17 as 51-year-old Ronald Nicholls Jr..
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 200 block of Jules Avenue about 10:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting. When they arrived the scene, they located Nicholls lying in the roadway, said Capt. Jason Rivarde, spokesman for the department.

Nicholls was pronounced dead at the scene, says the police.
Following an autopsy that was performed on him, it was revealed that Nicholls died of gunshot wounds to his neck and abdomen, says Mark Bone, chief death investigator for the coroner’s office.
Investigation is still ongoing to determine the motive behind the act.
So far no one has been arrested.
