Roy Lee Mason Death – A 61-year-old man from Pine Hill has been killed in a vehicle accident that happened on U.S. 231 near mile marker 103, about 10 miles south of Montgomery.
Roy Lee Mason was pronounced dead after the 2013 Toyota Corolla he was traveling in left the road and struck a tree.
The accident reportedly happened at 1 p.m. according Michael Carswell, Alabam Law Enforcement Agency Trooper. Preliminary investigation determined Mason was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Roy Mason died at the scene of the accident.
