Famous member of 60s Flamin’ Grroovies, Roy Loney has died, Friday, December 13, 2019. DeadDeath have not learn the cause of Loney’s death.

According to Facebook message, Roy Loney passed away Friday morning. He was 73-year-old at the time of death.

Tributes are pouring out on social media timeline over the death of the musician who founded Flamin’ Groovies in 1965 in the Bay Area.

“We are all deeply saddened and stunned to learn that our dearest friend and bandmate, Roy Loney, passed away this morning,”

Loney left Flamin’ Groovies to pursue a solo career, releasing a handful of albums as Roy Loney & the Phantom Movers between 1979 and 1993. His most recent project was 2009’s Got Me A Hot One! with Señor No.
