According to reports, the St. Luke’s staff and community received the news about the death of their long time nurse practitioners after battling COVID-19 on Monday. Samantha Hickey, 45, worked for the St. Luke’s Children’s team in Canyon County for 15 years. Her death was announced July 13. There were no underlying conditions the hospital, nor her husband, was aware of.
A spokesperson for the hospital said in quote; “Samantha’s death is a heartbreaking consequence of the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic,”.
