Scott Bowie GoFundMe
A GoFundMe account with $1,355 raised of $15,000 goal was set up for Scott. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family of the deceased. Below is the statement on the GoFundMe page.
As some may already be aware, Scott Brownridge (stage name, Scott Bowie) passed away tragically last week, in a car accident outside ALDI store car park at Kingston Central Plaza, Moorabbin. To those who have already donated to the family on the Facebook Fundraiser, we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. That money will be invaluable over the coming months.
We are aware that a number of people still wish to donate to the family so that is why we have decided to extend the fundraiser on this GoFundMe platform (not Facebook), and also to allow us to better manage the donation process and share the fundraiser outside of Facebook.

Scott was a loving, genuine, smart man, and a devoted father who always had a cheeky, infectious smile on his face and a joke on his lips.We have set up this page to show our love and provide financial support to his wife Tammy, 9 year old daughter, Shakima and 4 year old son, Zane during such an impossible time.
We are asking the community, where possible, to offer a donation to the family to help them with household costs, bills, school fees and other expenses over the next 12 months and potentially ongoing. Covid has made this situation much much worse (if that’s possible) so any help you could offer would be appreciated. It’s the least we can all do to help them.
We have come together as a family and are still trying to process the enormous impact this will have on all our lives. Our family is still in a great amount of shock and our main priority is stabilising the lives of his precious family. Everyone’s support and love is so greatly appreciated.
As we are, and we are sure everyone else will be in such disbelief and sadness, we ask that our privacy is kept in mind as we are still trying to work our way through our grief and shock. All your messages have been received with love and your offers of assistance are greatly appreciated and we would like to take those offers up at a later date.
Please bombard this post rather than Tammy personally, while she loves and appreciates each and everyone’s messages of love and support, it’s quite overwhelming for her and all her focus needs to be on her family. When we are able, more information will be sent out.
PLEASE SHARE
Thank you in advance for your contribution and for sharing this page on your social media. Every little bit counts towards a better quality of life for Tammy and her family.
Thank you xxx
