Sharon Adler Death – The Gassville police have arrested a 21-year-old woman who stabbed a 72-year-old Sharon Adler, of Gassville to death on Tuesday, August 18.
The police reports that officers were dispatched to the crime scene around 1.35 p.m after receiving a 911 call from the suspect identified as Amber Runau, saying that she stabbed someone.

When the police arrived the scene, Runau was seen outside the home and she once again admitted to the crime, says Capt. Everett Uchtman.
Runau was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree murder on a $1 million bond, says the police.
preliminary investigation revealed that Adler who was found dead of apparent stab wound babysat Runau when she was a baby. She had taken Runau in that night because she was homeless.
On getting to the police station, Runau’s Miranda right was read to her and she still admitted to the crime, says Uchtman.
Uchtman reports that the suspect Runau, felt frustrated after she couldn’t fix a broken picture frame.
Runau is currently in the Baxter County jail as of Wednesday morning.
Investigation is still active.
