Death & Obituary: Sioux City: 26-year-old Patrick Patterson has died. He passed away Monday, December 21, 2019 following a single-motor accident that happened on Lewis Boulevard.
Th vehicle crash happened at 8:30 a.m in the 2400 block of South Lewis Boulevard.
Sioux City police said that Patrick Patterson suffered fatal injuries in the crash, leading to his sudden and unexpected death.
According to a Sioux City Police Department news release, investigators believe the car was traveling south when it veered the roadway and struck a power line pole.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but speed was a factor, police said Tuesday.
