It was a shocking and sad news to everyone that knew Sir Stephen Cleobury, the former director of the Choir of King’s College Cambridge. He died on November 22, 2019.

The death of Cleobury is death is cause by a long time illness. He died in his hometown of York. Stephen has been ill for quite sometime now and he has finally decided to take a rest.
Stephen has many musical accomplishments. He once performed in Beeville, Texas of all places where he gave a organ recital.
November 22ndhas not only claimed John F. Kennedy and C. S. Lewis, but now Dr. Cleobury as well. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
Cleobury was also President of the Royal College of Organists from 1990 to 1992. He was a Fellow of the Royal College of Music and an Honorary Doctor of Music from Anglia Ruskin University.
