Stanley Nevins Death | Stanley Nevins Obituary – Stanley Nevins has passed away. Stanley Nevins was the father of Tim Nevins, one of the coaches of Fox Valley Lacrosse. Stanley Nevins was a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Wrestling Hall of Fame.
When he retired from SUNY Cobleskill in January 1991, he left behind a remarkable coaching legacy. In 22 wrestling seasons, the Nevis-led teams posted a 196-36 record without a losintg season. In 32 years, Nevis coached 70 teams of which only four had losing records.
