Stanley Robinson Death – A former UConn hoops star identified as Stanley Robinson, of Alabama, has died at the age of 32 on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
Robinson’s death was made known through the school. His cause of death is yet to be disclosed.

According to the school’s tweet, “The UConn Basketball family grieves the loss of a great player and an even greater person, Stanley “Sticks” Robinson. Our thoughts and prayers are with Stanley’s family at this difficult time.”
Robinson, an Alabama native and high school All-American, of 6,9 feet, his athleticism made an immediate impact at UConn, where he became famous for his incredible dunks and helped the Huskies reach the 2009 Final Four. After averaging 14.5 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks as a senior, he was selected in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic.
Robinson never appeared in an NBA game, starting his professional career in the G-League and largely playing in South America. He most recently played in Chile.
According to the former UConn coach Jim Calhoun report to The Hartford Courant, “Just a really, really sweet kid.” “The world was harsh for him, because he was such a caring, giving person.”
