Dug up an article I did on Steph Bowe when she was just 19 and I worked at Girlfriend magazine.
“Young women need to be reminded that they are so much more than their appearance, that their worth doesn’t decline with age.”

Sad to read of the passing of Steph Bowe of the Aust YA community, first publ. at 16. She never stopped seeking to improve, despite her prodigious talent & early success. I once saw her take on a roomful of adults who claimed to know “what teens want to read.” It was magnificent.
