A 14 year-old girl has been stabbed to death at a Halloween party in Winnipeg. The name of the victim has not been released. Police in Winnipeg are currently investigating the crime.
The death of the teen girl is bringing the total number of homicides in Winnipeg to 36. Officers responded to a call from the party late Saturday and found two female victims — one 18 and the other 14.
According to police, girl, 18, has been upgraded to stable condition. No charges have been laid in either case, although Const. Rob Carver says some people from the Halloween party have been detained.
