Loch Lomond Death – The death of a teenage girl who was found dead after having trouble in a river near Loch Lomond on Sunday, August 9, has been confirmed by the authorities.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the girl died after getting into difficulty in the river.

At 18.45 on Sunday, emergency services responded to the scene around Balloch Bridge on the River Leven on a report of a girl who had fallen into the water.
Upon their arrival, a major search was launched which involved two rescue helicopters, a police underwater unit, the fire service, and rescue boats.
The teenage girl’s body was later found around 9.45 p.m after three hours search.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident, but the death is not being treated as suspicious,” says the Police Scotland spokeswoman.
