St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara told WPEC: “If you heard this call come over the radio, it would make the hair on your neck stand.” “A little girl calls in saying that, you know, ‘There’s someone shooting in our house. I think my parents are dead. I think my family’s dead.’”

It was reported that Delserro, was “actively shooting” with two handguns when he walked into Alexander Hansman’s home on Monday, killing Alexander and his daughter, Harper.

Upon arrival of the officials, Delserro was found with exchanged gun shot on the second floor. During this response, an officer was shot in the arm and the chest, he has minor injury as he was wearing a bullet proof vest.

Delserro was pronounced dead on  SWAT’s arrival and his death is still under investigation.

Four occupants of the Hansman’s home whose identities were not disclosed managed to escape.

Alexander Hansman was pronounced dead in the garage and while rushing his daughter Harper to the hospital, she gave up.

Although the shooting is still under investigation, it is clear that a dispute involving Delserro’s dog stemmed this, says Assistant Police Chief Richard Del Toro.
