Timothy Bowes Death | Timothy Bowes Obituary – 60 years old Timothy Bowes, of Mundelein, was killed after a vehicle struck him while he was riding his bicycle in Libertyville on Sunday morning, 4th of October 2020. Timothy Bowes, 60 died from injuries due to blunt force trauma from being struck by a car, the autopsy reports said. LakeMchenryScanner reported that emergency crew responded around 3:25 a.m. on Sunday to the area of Route 176 and Stritch Drive for a report of a vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, the police located a bicyclist identified as Bowes in the roadway and a vehicle that had struck the bike east of the intersection, west of Butterfield Road. He was alert and conscious at the scene and paramedics treated him, LakeMchenryScanner mentioned in a release. He was then taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Doctors later declared Bowes dead around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. Investigations are ongoing.
