Tom Shumosic Death | Tom Shumosic Obituary – Tom Shumosic passed away peacefully, Tom Shumosic started with the DSGA back in the 1980s as a course rater and quickly became an integral part of the DSGA. Tom served in multiple volunteer roles including course rater, rules official, starter, and resident joke-teller for 30 years. He was known as an amazing person he contributed passionately to his community and family he will be greatly misse.
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a treasured member of the DSGA family. Tom Shumosic started with the DSGA back in the 1980’s as a course rater and quickly became an integral part of the DSGA. Tom served in multiple volunteer roles including course rater, rules official, starter and resident joke-teller for 30+ years.
His personality and love for the game of golf were infectious and can still be felt through the association to this day. Tom – thank you for all of the time and effort you put into the DSGA over the years and for welcoming every player, volunteer and Boatwright intern to the DSGA community. The witty one-liners, riddles and memories will stay with us for years to come. RIP Tom
