Tragedy at Lumberton as Two Women were Shot Dead | Search for Male Suspect continues – In reference to news release, Police responded to the Family Dollar at 1305 East 5th St. just before 5 p.m. and found two women who had been shot to death. Witnesses said a man wearing a hoodie fired into multiple vehicles as they were backing out of parking spaces. The victims have been identified as Kayla Kyle, 32, of Meadow Road in Lumberton, and Kimberly Hunt, 41 who died after being shot in the parking lot. They allege Green was dropped off in a gray car, and he opened fire on vehicles as they backed out of their parking spaces.
According to reports, Police are looking for the gunman accused of shooting and killing two women in the parking lot of a Family Dollar in Lumberton on Friday afternoon. Warrants have been issued for Xavier Joseph Kenneth Green, 25, of Florence, S.C. He is wanted on two counts of first-degree murder.
Green is 6’0 and weighs 185 pounds. Anyone who knows of Green’s whereabouts, or sees him, is asked to call 911. Green is considered armed and dangerous and should only be approached by law enforcement.
