Two Homicide Victims Found | Kentucky man faces charges for Homicide – 45 years old Steven R. Gann, of Garfield residence and Jacob R. Loeffler, a 26-year-old Elizabethtown resident, were found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the early hours of Thursday, 6th of August 2020.
KSP Post 4 was contacted by the Breckinridge County sheriff’s office to help with the investigation. An initial investigation identified Johnson as a suspect, and he was found at an apartment complex on Ledgewood Parkway in Louisville. He was apprehended without further incident, police said.
Montez D. Johnson, 28, was taken to the Breckinridge County Detention Center, police said. In total, five law enforcement agencies were involved in the response, KSP said. He was arrested by KSP’s Special Response Team and the Louisville Metro Police Department’s SWAT team Thursday, 6th of August 2020 police said, after two people were found dead at a residence in Garfield.
