Vale Mostyn Berryman Death | Vale Mostyn Berryman Obituary – Vale Mostyn Berryman age 96 passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home. Berryman was a member of Operation Jaywick, one of the most well-known special forces missions of the Second World War.
In 1943, Berryman and his crewmates were deep inside Japanese territory as part of Z Special Unit’s Operation Jaywick. He was an icon and mentor to the younger military folks , he contributed passionately to his community and country he will be greatly missed.
On Thursday 6 August, Mostyn Berryman passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home at the age of 96 years.
Moss was a member of Operation Jaywick, one of the most well-known special forces missions of the Second World War.
He is being cremated at Elliott Bros Funerals at Hawthorn in Adelaide SA on Saturday 15 August 2020 at 11.00am.
In 1943, Berryman and his crew mates were deep inside Japanese territory as part of Z Special Unit’s Operation Jaywick.
They were disguised as Malay fishermen and had just completed one of the most daring raids of the Second World War, a mine attack on enemy shipping in Japanese-occupied Singapore harbour.
