Vicente Delgado Death – The California Highway Patrol have released the identity of the elderly Cyclist who lost his life on Monday, August 3 while trying to cross the road as 82-year-old Vicente Delgado.
Authorities reports that Delgado was struck by a vehicle in the western unincorporated area of Fontana.

The California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the 13300 block of Arrow Route Shortly before 2 p.m. on Monday. Upon their arrival, they found Delgado lying in the middle of the street.
Preliminary investigation revealed that, Delgado was crossing the street on a motor scooter to go to his mailbox when he was struck by a white van in the westbound lane.
Delgado was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to CHP, the driver of the van remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
