Vickie Edge Death | Obituary – Vickie Edge age 59 has been identified as the victim found dead. Vickie Edge had been dead for at least two days when deputies found her in his Milton home Friday, August 7 2020. The sheriff’s office said she was then beaten to death with a baseball bat.
According to the authorities, Edge was visiting her boyfriend, 61-year-old Jerry Odom. Her family knew something was wrong when she hadn’t returned any of their texts or calls for close to two days.
Friday night, deputies conducted a welfare check at Odom’s Milton home. When investigators got there, they found her body inside.
“This is probably one of the most heinous crimes, one of the bloodiest- it’s such a graphic type of case,” said Sergeant Rich Aloy with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office. “This individual, no doubt, from our opinion investigating it is very cold-blooded.”
