Vicky May Edge Death – The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office have release the identity of the woman who was murdered in Milton on Thursday, as Vicky May Edge.
A suspect relating to the murder has also been arrested and identified as 61-year-old Jerry Odum, the victim’s boyfriend.

According to official report, the report got to the police after Edge’s family couldn’t get through to her, appeared in Jerry’s apartment on Friday night in Vendome Court in the Bon View neighborhood right off of Avalon Blvd. in Milton, to discover the unexpected.
When Odum was being interviewed after the appearance of the police to the scene, he (Odum) told investigators that Edge was getting ready for work and he told her he had a surprise for her. The arrest report had many details edited. The report did state that Odum had just purchased a baseball bat at Walmart the day before the incident.
According to Odum, they were planning their wedding and he had given her a check of $15,000, although he wasn’t having that amount on him.
Odum is being charged with first degree premeditated murder and held in the Santa Rosa County Jail with no bond.
