William Bryant Montgomery Death | William Bryant Montgomery Obituary – William Bryant Montgomery, 52, of Eureka has been identified as one of the two people who died in a traffic accident early Wednesday morning, 5th of August 2020 in the Humboldt area. The fatal crash was reported to the CHP officials at around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 5th of August 2020, on State Route 255 near the third span of Samoa Bridges. As of the report, a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Montgomery, was heading southbound on State Route 255 when, for an unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the road and crashed into the water on the east side of the bridge. Due to the crash, the Malibu became submerged in the water.
According to reports from the Pacific Attorney Group plc, the first responders arrived at the scene and found Montgomery and his male passenger in the submerged vehicle. The crews performed life-saving measures for both victims. The two occupants of the Malibu were then taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where they later died from their injuries. It is still unclear whether alcohol or drugs were suspected factors in the accident. The accident remains under investigation.
