William Nichols Death | William Nichols Obituary – William Nichols a Mississippi deputy is dead after rescuing his son from the water at Sandestin Resort Sunday evening. Walton County Sheriff’s Office says William Nichols saved his 10-year-old son from rough waters. The child made it back to shore, but Nichols was pulled back out into the water.
According to reports, Nichols, 33, was later pulled from the water and EMS initiated CPR. He was then transported to Sacred Heart Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He served as a deputy sheriff for the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department in Mississippi. He was also the Director of Search and Rescue.
