Wilson Gavin death & obituary: The university Liberal National Club leader who protested against drag queens in a Brisbane City Council Library has passed away.
Gavin protested that “drag queens are not for kids”. According to Daily Mail report, Wilson Gavin was found dead in Brisbane’s south Monday, January 13, 2020.
According to spokesperson for Queensland Police, Wilson has died in a suicide at Chelmer Railway Station at 7 am.
As current State patron of the UQ LN Club, I’m deeply saddened to hear of the death of Wilson Gavin. Wilson & his friends took a principled stand to protect children from inappropriate sexualisation & gender fluid ideology. For that he was treated terribly. Wilson, RIP!

This is a sad end to Wilson Gavin’s tragic story. Deserved raging at his actions does not preclude an instinct of terrible sorrow for his pain.
