18-Year-old Maddison Yetman of Winnipeg is dead. She died on Sunday, November 17 after a battle with cancer. She was diagnosed with advanced form of sarcoma and told had between a few days or a few weeks to live.
In October, Yetman made a video from her hospital bed, after casting her ballot, asking people to vote in the federal election. The went absolutely viral
The teen girl’s uncle, Brent Williamson, announced his niece’s death on Twitter Sunday morning.
“Our beautiful little peanut passed away yesterday. She was stronger than anyone could imagine and left a wonderful mark on this world,” he wrote.
