Woman Who Died On A21 Fell From Bridge

Woman Who Died On A21 Fell From Bridge –  A woman who plunged to her death from a bridge fell while desperately seeking help after the car she was in caught fire.

The 24-year-old, named locally as Azra Kemal, died after falling from a bridge on the A21 between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge yesterday.

Police were called just after 2.30 am and the air ambulance was also sent, alongside paramedics, who found a car engulfed in flames.

Detectives have now said they believe the young woman, from London, was traveling in the car before it caught fire.

It is understood she got out, and while trying to seek help, fell to her death from a bridge.

Tragically, she could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 31-year-old man from London was arrested in connection with the incident, with forensics called in to investigate, and the road closed for 11 hours.

Many of Miss Kemal’s friends are remembering her today and a tribute is being planned.

A memorial gathering has been organized for 4 pm at Priory Park in Haringey, north London.

We express our sympathy and deepest condolences to Azra Kemal’s family today and in the days, weeks, months, and years that are to come as they cope with his passing. May his soul rest in peace.
