Yesenia Lisette Aguilar Death | Yesenia Lisette Aguilar Obituary – Yesenia Lisette Aguilar who was 35 weeks pregnant was killed by an allegedly intoxicated driver in California on Tuesday night, 11th of August 2020, police said. Report says that Yesenia Lisette Aguilar was walking on a sidewalk with her husband in Anaheim when she was struck at about 7:30 p.m. by a Jeep driven by Courtney Pandolfi, 40, cops said in a press release. Aguilar, who was 23 years old died at UCI Medical Center. Her daughter was delivered via cesarean section. The premature newborn is listed in critical condition in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit, police said Wednesday.
According to NewYorkPost, a GoFundMe page set up for Aguilar’s family, which had raised nearly $18,000 by late Wednesday, said the baby is “fighting for her life.” The police said, Aguilar’s husband was uninjured in the crash. Pandolfi, who has two prior DUI arrests, was charged with murder, DUI drugs causing bodily injury and driving with a suspended license. She is being held in Orange County Jail on $1 million bond.
