Deven Jared Koening died at the age of 21 on Saturday, December 7, 2019. He was pronounced dead at UMass Medical Center.
Deven Jared passed away as a result of injuries sustained when his car crashed into Jordan Pond in Shrewsbury, local police announced in a release.
Koenig was the only occupant of the vehicle that got crash and overturned. He was rescue by officials before being transported to UMass Medical Center, where he later died.
The car accident happened around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday at Jordan Pond and flipped over onto its roof. The car was submerged in roughly four feet of icy water.
