Reginald L. Kelly Death – The identity of the man who died in an accident in Norfolk on Saturday, August 1, has been released by the Virginia State Police as 28-year-old Reginald L. Kelly, from Central Avenue, Alexandria.
This incident happened around 6.30 p.m on Saturday, after Kelly’s car swerved to avoid another car that had crashed, says the police.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Kelly had alcohol in his system and was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.
This accident caused the lanes of westbound traffic near Norview Avenue to be blocked early Saturday, says the police.
According to investigators report, Kelly was driving in a high speed in a 2002 BMW 325i. When he swerved to avoid the crash, his car spun across all lanes of travel and ended up on its side, on top of a tree, on the right shoulder of the roadway.
Kelly was immediately rushed by the first responders to Norfolk Sentara General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
